Play and Learn Day Nursery was registered with Ofsted in 2016. The nursery is on both the Early Years Register and the Childcare Register. The nursery has places for children aged 6 months to 5 years old. An after school club & holiday club is available for school-age children up to 8 years old during the main school holidays from 9.00 am – 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday.

The nursery is open five days a week, Monday to Friday from 8.00 am until 6.30 pm for 51 weeks of the year. We are closed for one week during Christmas time and on all public and bank holidays.

The nursery is also located very close to New Barnet Rail Station and High Barnet Underground Station – great for commuters!

Play and Learn Nursery operates full and half-day sessions, including 15 hours of free education for children aged 2-years old and 30 hours funded childcare for children aged 3 – 4 years.

The funded 15 hour session times:

Option 1:

3 days per week, 9.30 am -3.00 pm

Option 2:

5 days per week (Monday to Friday) 9.00 am – 12.00 pm

The funded 30 hour session times:

5 days per week, Monday to Thursday 9.30 am – 4.00 pm, Friday 9.00 am – 1.00 pm

4 days per week, Monday to Thursday 9.30 am – 4.30 pm

3 and a half days per week, 8.00 am – 5.00 pm and 9.00 am – 12.00 pm 

For private paying parents we offer:

Option 1:

Full day is 8:.00 am – 6.30 pm

Option 2:

Half day: 8 am – 12 pm or 1 pm – 5.00 pm
